But I found this great Mokumentary "The Majestic Plastic Bag" on the Surfrider Foundation's Facebook. It's pretty funny but also is very telling. Watch this and realize just how silly it is that we use plastic bags just to carry our groceries a few steps to the car, into our homes once we are there and then after just an hour of usage at most, end up in the trash can (we hope). Or like this film shows, winding up in the streets and streams, ultimately ending up in the oceans!!!

Rise Above Plastics Campaign

Hey everyone,

This weekend has been really great for postcard signing throughout San Diego. Thanks to our volunteers we have gotten well over 100 postcards signed! Here are a few pictures from Sunday's efforts on the Imperial Beach Pier. Jon and I were able to get around 45 cards signed. Special thanks to Elena Buenrostro for her help in south county and to the other volunteers for putting in hours of their weekend to make this work. Thanks everyone!
